It's New Year Eve and I'm at home still recovering from my membership in the "Bird Flu Crew" ....ok it's not really the bird flu but it's bad. Today I went for a short walk the first one in over two weeks and I was exhausted it was only about 30 blocks but I returned home with a stumble in my strut. I was happy to get back up stairs and put on some veggies. Thank goodness my Pink Eye is starting to resolve itself.
Well, I'm glad to see 2005 end, the year began with the tsunami aftermath, spring and summer brought us the Downing Street memo , the Valerie Plame outing, more torture and Katrina. We're finishing with the year with our Government's acknowledgment of spying on American citizens without warrants no checks and balances. 2006 gotta be better.
I wish peace for everyone and success for those whose goals don't include the oppression of others.

Happy Holidays Folks hope you're having a festive season, I'm sick with the flu or something I'm into my third week and today and I celebrated with a disease blast from the past PINK EYE yuck, I though this unsightly illness was for children only. Well I'm quarantined at my parents home so it feels like childhood has returned. I celebrated this predicament with a cable TV movie watching marathon I Robot, Fat Albert and the Manchurian Candidate 2004 all were ingested in one evening with 2 NBA playoff games. (GO SHAQ BABY) Ay Caramba after all that TV watching no wonder I got pink eye!
I've spent this evening trying to get a phone prescription from my out of state HMO processed. I won't rant. but it's been ugly.
Hopefully, after my medication arrives I can get started on a year end post with photos and comments on 2005.
